2010 American Platinum Eagle
This year marks the release of the 2010 American Platinum Eagle, which is the second in a the six year series, that explores American democracy and it's core concepts as they are stated in the Preamble to the Constitution of the US. The first release last year, which was the one ounce 2009 Proof Platinum Eagle, was put out for sale on December 3, 2009 and proceeded to sell out in one week.
The packaging of this platinum coin was in the middle of a tri-fold binder, and set up to display one side with the narrative by Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. and then the opposite side holding the specifications of the coin and its certificate of authenticity. Read more
